Celebrating Wisconsin Benefit Corporation Legislation

B Local Wisconsin in partnership with Madison Green Drinks invites you to join us in celebrating the effective date of Wisconsin's Benefit Corporation law, Act 77/Ch. 204, allowing businesses in the state to become chartered for-profit entities that are committed to benefiting society and the environment.

Bill Co-sponsors Wisconsin State Assembly Rep. Chris Taylor and State Assembly Rep. Dianne Hesselbein will share remarks. Mr. Patrick Berry of BoardmanClark and Mr. Brian Anderson of Dewitt, Ross, & Stevens will provide legal context. Guests will also be able to meet several Wisconsin Certified B Corps and their non-profit supporters, and enjoy appetizers and a cash bar in a very unique environment (we'll keep the bank vault door open for you!).
